I designed this book to walk medical students through the entire spectrum of what they need for the neurology clerkship. The book begins with a basic review of neuroanatomy (who doesn’t need a quick review of the medial longitudinal fasiculus?), the basics of neuroimaging – what to order, when and why, and the neuro exam. It then moves through each of the core subspecialties of neurology, such as stroke, headache, movement disorders, etc. with topical review and question based cases. There’s even a section on tumors and neurosurgery, as well as an “imaging atlas” at the end with images and descriptions of commonly encountered neuroimaging findings. Feedback from 3rd and 4th year students in the clerkship has been overwhelming so far – thank you!
